Christina is a registered psychologist, MA(Hons) Clin. Psych., with over 20 years experience working across clinical and organisational environments.
Most recently, Christina has spent the last four years establishing and building a successful psychology practice within a local osteopathy clinic. Her client base was primarily adults with a small number of adolescents. The opportunity to establish a clinic in Camden presents an exciting, new challenge for the next phase in Christina's career.
Christina has worked extensively with both children and adults presenting with a wide range of issues in the private and public health sectors. Christina was a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Head of Service for Secondary Level, Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in the Macarthur and Western Sydney region. This experience has given her a working knowledge and understanding of the psychological needs in the local community. Christina's clinical practice is guided by various therapeutic models including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness Based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Schema Therapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy and the use of personality assessments. Christina has significant experience assisting individuals with depression, anxiety, grief and bereavement, adjustment disorder, relationship difficulties (marital and family), weight management and increasing resilience. Christina's experience in the corporate sector includes assessment for recruitment and organisational development; executive coaching; manager support; team building; creating resilient, high performing teams; coaching for high potentials, managing change; career guidance and career transition.
